iPod requirements:  
They are all listed on the back cover of the product but for your reference:

For iPod Classic, iPod (5th generation) V1.2 or later and iPod Nano (3rd & 4th generation). Can also be used on iPod with color display, iPod Photo, iPod Nano (2nd generation), iPod Mini V1.4.1 and iPod with click wheel, but images will not display.

iTunes requirements:  
Version 8.0 or later

Computer requirements: Windows  XP with SP2 and Vista
Mac 0S 10.3.9 or newer
Hard Disk: 40MB of available hard disk space.
