 Uninstall Instructions (Read these carefully before continuing.)

Uninstall Instructions: 

1) Make sure your iPod is connected and  iTunes is currently open. Wait until your iPod appears in the iTunes Source Menu.

2) As in the installation instructions, make sure your iPod is in "Enable disk use" mode. Go to iTunes Edit/Preferences and click on iPod tab, followed by Music tab and then if not already checked, check "Enable disk use" box.

3) Using My Computer (or Finder for the Mac), look for your iPod as an external drive. This may drive D through Z. Look for the Notes folder.

4) Once found, double click the Notes folder in your iPod. Then delete the Concise folder. For example: delete the Arts & Humanities II folder.

5) For the Image portion, go to iTunes and delete the songs that are listed under the Album category. For example: Arts and Humanities II.

             If you wish, you can now add another encyclopedia volume.


iPod requirements:  
3rd generation  or newer
iPod (sold since April, 2003.) 
Firmware: Version 2.0 or later. This includes the
new Video and Nano, click-wheel iPod, iPod Mini, and the "no moving parts" iPods with the buttons above the wheel and the dock connector on the bottom. And the new 4th generation iPod with only the wheel.

Computer requirements:
Windows 2000 or XP,
Mac OS X 10.2 or later
Hard Disk: 5 MB of available hard disk space.

 
iTunes requirements: Version 4.6 or later.
