How to add audio or video to your iPad

The audio and
video files you download from iPREPpress are zipped files that end
in extension ".zip". For example, the file may be named something
like "1984 Study Guide MP4.zip ."
On PCs, you can usually double click on the
zipped folder and then extract and save the files to your computer hard
drive. If not, use a program like WinZip or any other available
unzip programs. Remember where you save
these files on your hard disk.
For
Macs, there is a free program called
Betterzip. Click to download
it.
Please follow the instructions
below. They apply to both audio or video files:
Connect your
iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. You'll see
your iPad and several tabs. Click on "Music" tab and
check "Sync music". Click on the Video tab, scroll down
toward the bottom of the screen and check "Sync
movies".
In
iTunes, look at the upper left hand corner for File. Click on it
and a drop down menu will appear.
Windows only:
Click on "Add FOLDER to library".
Mac
only: Click on
"Add to library"

The drop down browse menu appears.
Find "Computer" for Vista or Win 7 or "My Computer " for XP. Open
it and look for the folder on your hard disk.

Select the folder
named something like "1984 Video Study Guide" for example.
This is the content you unzipped to our hard disk earlier. Click "Open". The audio or
video files will now load into your iTunes library.
Sync
up your iPod with iTunes. If you DO NOT have "Manually mange music
and videos" selected, then your most recent files will
automatically load into your iPhone. If you do "Manually manage
music and videos", then drag the new files from your iTunes
library to your iPhone.
Eject
your iPad. At the menu of your iPad click on the "Videos" icon and
find the video files there. Click on the "iPod" icon to find
the audio files.
